Thanks for the link. His model customs are simply outstanding. One paint job is better then the next one.

southpier, thanks for checkin it out.
Joel_W, Edgar is the host. It's great that he's producing this whole series.
Some are audio only when he interviews a modeler over the phone. Those are available through i-tunes, I think.

So there's usually no video? Kind of hurts when you can't see the model or technique's they're discussing.
I was also thinking about their conversation about going to Japan again. For one week in Japan it must have cost a good couple of thousands. I can just imagine telling my wife that I'm going to Japan for a week to a car model/contest show. I'll have her post where my remains have been laid to rest.

Indeed, with air fare and the hotel and eating alone would be near that. Then add buying model stuff. It would really add up.

Edgar re-reviews LowRider Bicycle Magazine #11 from the 90's.

I actually bought this issue back then and still have it.

Thanks for posting - some rad bikes and models. I remember those lowrider bikes cruising around the east bay - I was older by that time, into the job etc but as a kid was a big bmx guy - I always liked the paint and the mods on the lowrider bikes. As the guy narrating said, those were some nice builds - creative too - wow
Cheers

Indeed, very fine work. I was in San Francisco in the 90's and went to a few art gallery shows that featured LR bikes and model cars. Good times man. The scene is still active. Unfortunately the magazine is no longer published. The Low Rider / Custom model car zine out there that I know of now is Dedicated.

That’s pretty cool - I have lived in the Bay Area my whole life - my family is several generations of SF folks - I live in the east bay - ha! We might have crossed paths in the 90s - fun times, black SF Derby jacket, Vans, lots of music, fun bars, car and art scene - to have it all back l!!! Lol - nope, just good memories now! I like all sorts of models - anything that is done well - F1, M1A1, low and slow! I dig seeing diversity in subjects - especially when it makes me ask “how’d he build that!!?!”
Keep posting cool stuff
Cheers
