Very sorry to hear this Joel as it is a situation that is occurring in nursing homes in the UK as well. I hope that when the time comes and the funeral takes place that you remember the good times and days and are able to put the suffering at the end to one side for now.

Sorry to having seen this post only recently. My deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your loved one. We lost my mother in law last year around this time and my mother the year before. It is never easy. Keep all the good memories close.
