This was originally planed, for the Ford campaign, but I didn't really get anything build. Kind of lost my build mojo, for a little while.
Now I'm back, in business.

Revell 1965 Mustang 2+2 and Aoshima 19 inch wheels. This is the stance I'm hoping to get.

The wheel arches are way to narrow, so they have to be widened.
First I draw, where I want to cut and it's just a quick spin, with the old Dremel. I always retain a bit of the outer edge, of the arches, to help me shape the new one.

Styrene sheet is held in place, by small clamps. Pretty isn't it.

Once the glue is dry, I just trim all excess styrene and with the help of a little plasto, it's done.

A little paint and it's almost as if it has always been like that.

Interior is done. Revell supply decals, for the dash, but they are way to big, so it's a mix of brush, pencils and Molotow chrome pen.

Jesper,
Great to see that you're building once again.

Interesting modification to the 2+2 Mustang. Those 19 inch wheels really do look like they mean business. I only went up from 14 to 15 inch wheels and low profile tires and it made a huge difference on my Hyundai Coupe. For modification to the chassis came out looking just like it was fab'd right in the Ford Plant.

Excellent work Jesper, great to see you back at the bench mate!

Your choice of wheels and that stance is really nice, a classic body with a modern twist!

Looking forward to more updates.

Cheers, D

Really like the wheels Jesper. That's something I thought I would try on one of the Mobieus kits I bought earlier this year especially as there such a wide range of choices available. Looking forward to more.

cheers
Michael
