Ohhhh that is one sweet looking little Firefly you have there. A really clean build and a nice looking finish with moderate weathering. I really am quite impressed with seeing someone finish a WWII tank that doesen't look like it has been in front line combat for about 83 years . Or that the commander hasn't given each of the crew members a big hammer and a chisel with orders to set about chipping the paint off every 8 to 10 inches over the entire vehicle . A nice used but not worn out vehicle.

Mr Cooper. Nice Firefly. what kits is it? Is it OOB? What Figures? I am a new armor guy and have strong intrest in shermans. The crew is great. Thank you for posting. I also like your tutorial on the netting.

Thunder and Kid, thanks for your kind comments. The Firefly is completely OOB,the new Tasca kit. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. One of the two figures comes with the kit, the other fellow is from the Tamiya Cromwell.

Great looking build.Nice shade of green, super detail, and natural poses for the crew. Maybe a little too clean for a Sherman with duckbills! Are they the kit tracks?
Cheers!

Awesome Sherman! What color do you use for the wood handles on the tools?

Sultan; yes, they are the kit tracks. Travh; the tool handles were painted with Vallejo Panzer Aces 'New Wood' and stained with a spot of Burnt Sienna oils. Just paint the oils on, let them set for a few minutes and wipe off and away you go!
