Junkyard 1967 VW Beetle

  • move
I saw this on the side of the road near my town parked in front of a salvage/junk business owned by Mennonites here in PA. I thought it would make for an interesting photo feature as it shows how an older car will decay with time and shows rust and damage from many years of neglect, as you can see by what is missing. I have Identified the year of this VW Beetle as 1967. This was the year they went to a 12 volt system, and the word Volkswagen was put on the rear hood there was also a change in the headlights. In 1968 the bumpers were changed to a once piece design which changed the look of the car.
