We kind of saw this coming ever since Hasegawa released the BMW 2002 tii earlier this year. At the All Japan Model & Hobby Show, Hasegawa showed the sprue layout of the soon to be released Turbo version of the BMW 2002.
What differentiates the 2002tii and higher performance the Turbo are their cosmetic and mechanical revisions in the latter. The Turbo has wider wheel arches with arch extensions, a rear spoiler, a revised lower front lip as well as different head and tail lamps. All this is on top of the performance gains. Here are a few pics of 3D models that will be used to make the kit possible. Hopefully it will be released by the end of the year and it would be an another kit we will spend our small fortunes on.
