Outstanding work Gary there is nothing about this build that doesn't say rat rod, great engine details nice weathering on the interior and i can't wait to see all those parts assembled.

Finally finished. I did most of the final assembly yesterday and added the final small parts this morning. The paint is Tamiya German gray with 2 coats of Tanmiya semigloss clear. I am pretty well pleased with everything except two small areas that just didnt fit completely right--the rear axel doesnt have any frame clearance and the radiator hoses dont look completely right. I wish I would have narrowed the rear axel a little bit too. Maybe this will turn up on Ebay in another 45+ years and somebody can blow it apart and rebuild it then.

Outstanding finish Gary, the rust on the headers and grille shell look amazing and i like the semi gloss gray body, very cool.

Beautiful! I'd cruise that puppy around town proudly the way she stands.

Thanks guys. This would be one cool car to cruise in if it were real--just the thing for warm summer nights, double burgers and REAL cherry cokes. I see that R2C is supposed to reissue this kit along with the double dragster kit later this year in some sort of collectors tin. I saw about a $30.00 price tag too. They could lose the tin and come in with a lower price as far as I am concerned. Its really a pretty good kit but I use to buy them in the 60's at the discount store for $1.50--even with inflation, $30.00 seems a bit high.
