To answer your previous question about the masking tape vinyl roof: no, I didn't clear it afterwards, I just left the painted tape as is. Or as was.

And I still haven't found that article. I could swear it was in an issue of Scale Auto Enthusiast from '87 or '88, but it could have also been in Car Modeler...frankly, it could have been in either, and I haven't gone through all my back issues yet (and there are a lot of them).

Yes it is. 65 GTO mated to a 65 El Camino. I call it the El Cabra (The Goat)

Thank you...the project got sidebarred when I knoticed the front wheels were too far forward in the wheelwells. I had to cut the frame off and shorten to get it centered. I should get back to it again I guess.
