Here's a question...I don't see any voting ability for the 2010 challenger, the fiat, or the logger{lime popsicle truck}...all the rest say "vote" under the pic. Now is this because I can't vote on my own pieces?
{not that I was going to}

How about now?

If you can't vote for yourself, what's Hermon going to do

LOL...too funny!
I figured I should vote for someone else's...so I did. I'm letting it ride - besides, I have 3 entries and only one vote...I'd lack the other 2 votes needed to vote for all of mine.

So, is there any "prize" for the winner?{aside from the shear peer recognition value}

I think it's just for Rock Star Status among us peers plus a feature
But I'll donate something material product if needed.

Maybe a sheet of BMF /or
braided hose /or
some Detail master coolant hose /or
some neoprene tape for roll cage padding /or
a bottle of Future . . .

KSO, if that's the case then......I won, send them all to me (didn't anybody read the rule that staff has the final say)

Something(s) has been offered, but I'm not saying anything until it's in my hands. You guys will be the first to know
And of course the star status, bragging rights, driving the rest of us insane about it, along with a Feature of the winner, maybe with some writing on the header image stating that he or she won the first AM contest. Hopefully I can find my crayons by then.......

Hi gents,

Just some clarify on the "can I vote for myself" question - the answer is "no". Unfortunately not all members have been as honourable as you blokes and blokettes and occassionally we've had folks voting for themselves, so we built in a few simple precautions. But look, if you really want to stagger the votes get your partners, kids, uncles and aunties, grannies and grandads to join kitmaker and vote for you (not kidding - real scenario over on HF a few years back), but be warned - they may just like someone else's model and vote that way

JimmyB: quick kwezchun. is it not possoible to use the new Armorama MoM format for this contest? Or is that format still being trialled on the Big A and not available to the rest of the KMN sites yet?

Thanks for clearing that up Rudi, I remember at one time that voting for yourself was an option and thought maybe I didn't check/uncheck something in the edit page.

I'm thinking that the new format is still being fine tuned, looks like we can run this on a regular basis, maybe quarterly, so I'll be asking Jim to add the programming in.

I have to agree, voting for ones own self is, well, kinda cheesy in "my" opinion.

After viewing the results to date, I have determined that this voteing was an intentional communist plot against myself. I must protest this whole contest on behalf of fat kids around the world. You people obviously don't know talent when you see it. Also, I must insist that the winner get NOTHING, not even bragging rights.

That'll show em'.
