Every time I touch this trailer something falls off! Today was no exception. I was working on adding the outlet valves, and as i was trying to fit one on I heard a SNAP. The fricken' tank came off!!! I could not beleive it. The only thing holding it on is the air lines. Even the outlet piping fell off. What a nightmare. I'll be glad when I can finialy put this one on the shelf. Of course, it might never make it to the shelf because when I pick it up to move it to the shelf something will break off. AAGGGHHHHH!

Jim,

That looks good behind the Astro. Very period feel to it. I'm having the same problem finishing mine. Seems like something always wants to pop off.

Thanks. Everyone seems to like it behind the Astro. Have to find something for the Peterbilt.

Looks like something I'd imagine hauling a flatbed with steel or a reefer. Just my .02 (which isn't worth much these days :-)

Well, that's good as I have (2) 40ft Freuhauf flatbeds in the stash. I'd like to convert one to a drop deck, but the drop-deck is destined for the Alaska Hauler. I also have a livestock trailer in the works, and a Freuhauf reefer that I think I'm going to cut down to a grain trailer. I'd like to pick up a couple of the Freuhauf vans when the get reissued. Maybe a low-boy, too.

It was a bright, sunny day here in Central New York, so I managed to snap a couple of pictures of my Fruehauf tank trailer with a couple of different tractors. And I only managed to break off a mud flap from the trailer!
