Very nice models Dave, very nice indeed.
The brutal Shelby have always been my favorit of the two.

I also have to go with the Shelby. I like the fender flares in that it gives a more substantial look to the car.

Thank you all for the kind comments.
I'm in the process of reorganising all my display shelves from tanks/softskins to cars etc (with SWMBOs blessing!)so there's loads more to come.
Airfix 1/32 E-type and LeMans Ford and Ferrari for the Ancient Airfix campaign, Revell's 300SLR Mille-Miglia car.,
For Christmas I'm getting Revell's 1/24 Routemaster and 1/12 Shelby Mustang, Matchbox 1/32 Aston-Martin Ulster, and two of the SMER (ex-Merit) 1950s GP cars!!

Having driven both cars, nothing I've ever experienced compares to the 427 Shelby Cobra for shear power,but it wasn't a enjoyable car to drive on the street. I much preferred the 289 S/C Shelby Cobra for the street. Unfortunately, I never had the funds to own one.

Hi Joel
I've only driven a replica, with the Rover (Buick) 3.5litre V8 - still a great car and does wonders for the ego. Even better though was being a passenger in an original AC Ace around Goodwood racing circuit!
