This is my 1st time hosting a campaign so hope it's in the right place.
After a chat in auto about new campaigns, there was a few people interested in a rustbucket/scrap build. Well I hope to include, armour, and ships(they always have some rust) as well as shinys. Start date would be maybe Nov. end of 2013.
Open to all suggestions, but the main theme would be rust.
Loads of potential for dios etc. but not limited to.

Cheers Pete

Hi Pete,

Already started a diorama setup with a rusty DS19, I'm planning to build a second DS19. The new one will be in a stripped state inside the garage which will become part of the dio.
So for now, I'm in for it.

Regards,

Robert Jan

I've got a '55 Chevy Nomad set aside for this one. A dio setting will be a first for me, well, so will rust...should be interesting

Or...The Rook mech...choices, choices...

Shock - Horror!
I'll probably sit this one out folks. Having built the 2CV scrapper earlier this year I just don't feel the need to do another rust bucket.

Hi all,

The Big Traction Avant is coming to me next week. The build will be my first in 1/8 scale. It will be a nice puzzle, got some 1000 pieces.
Already collected pics and information, so I can kickoff on the 20th of November.

Hi,

I plan on doing a Revell 1937 Ford Pickup Street Rod, rotting away in some old backyard in the desert. Lots of holes in the rusted wings(fenders), rusting through the rear bed, flat tires etc.

Not sure how I will flatten the spare tire however, mnaybe I'll just reomve the tire and have some thin wire rings toreplicate the steel belt.

Hi all,

Like Hofpig I would like to show my inspiration point to the coming project. Magazines and pictures from the Citroënforum will help me.
Here are some pictures from the Citroexpert magazines.

Cool pics Robert....I can't wait to see your build.

Paul...glad you are onboard, and also will be waiting patiently for your build. As for the tyres you can cut a piece out of the bottom of the tyre then glue it flat, you will find the rubber is more plyable this way. There are other options, that is one I tried on this I did a few months ago....

I am going in a different direction this time, I am going to build something from a museum I visited this year, which should be fun, but a challenge too.

Cheers Pete

Hi Robert,

I don't know if this site may be of help to you, I found it when looking for pics of Simca's earlier this year.

Peter, nice model sort of what I am going for but more like this....

But with more holes!

Well, my '37 Ford arrived this morning looks like what I was thinking of so that will be a goer as soon as the campaign starts. Lots of chrome to strip though and I don't think I will have a use for the 1/25th surfboard!

One day to go and I've got already a 10 days delay, at least.
Still have to recieve the kit from Belgium. Felix, who ordered me to build his TA for the campaign is still busy to organize and select the kit.
But there is plenty of time and the energy to get this started in 10 days, will be supercharged. Lots of information and a creativ mind will keep me busy.
Succes everybody.
