Finished this beast. Nice kit, but quite a few problem areas. The vinyl used is a pig, most of the parts were out of shape and couldn't be straightened even with hot water. They wouldn't take paint either, hence no chrome trim on the windscreen surrounds. If you pick it up then all the suspension struts drop out of their mountings under the weight of the wheels. The bonnet (hood) won't fit - the ignition wires sit too high. Overall - it looks good on the shelf.

Dave, for all the problems you've listed, she looks great. I'd be happy to have that one on my display cabinet.
