Oh boy. Been waiting for either an original kit to come up on the 'net or for re-release! One of the best bike kits I ever built (and SWMBOs favourite bike!). Really needs flat bars instead of the raised ones, wonder if anyone will do a conversion kit for the fastback?
It's a real shame there aren't more British bike kits - Goldie or a Bonneville for example.

Fastback would be nice, especially with Dunstall rearsets and clip ons like mine, but hey, it's a Norton! Might be expensive though...

Okay, Heller, tis the third quarter of 2015, where is my Commando! I've been searching off and on for thirty plus years to find a model of the bike I have owned now for forty-two years. Do I want one, YES!!!

I have 2 of the original boxings of the Matchbox 1/12 Vincent Black Shadows that were given to me by a work client ! Plan is to build them to go alongside my 1/12 '57 Chev collection. One day. Maybe . . . .

I do have an original but ya gotta be wary. The chrome in my sample is knackered. No biggie as the kit chrome is the first thing to go.

Before moving on to Harleys my last bike was a 1972 Combat Commando with the Mk II Amals.Loved that bike and it killed all my buds Trumps and Beezers.

I've built three of the matchbox vincent shadows. It pains me to say that they have all been killed by wife ( dusting ) or cats jumping ( yes, they're still alive). I still have a full scale 1972 combat Commando Interstate that I bought from Superformance Motorcycles of North Vancouver in 1973. It now sports collector plates.
