Both of them beautiful! Well done!

Looking great D.
I was going to order some SMS Black from USA Gundam this morning to try them out, but they are out of stock on the Premium Black and the Jet Black as well. Hopefully that shipment you mentioned gets there soon.

Great choice of colors D. Looks beautiful.

Hi Damian,
I still can't get over how you get such high quality work, while working on two builds simultaneously! You are clearly more disciplined than me! One body at a time is enough! lol -
Keep up the good work
Cheers
Nick

Thanks for the support and feedback guys!
Nick, these two bodies together would be smaller than the blade assembly on your dozer!
Cheers, D

I want one of each, the real ones of course. This build has got me interested in the cars again.

My work here is done!
I'm glad you are enjoying the build thread here Darrell, these are definitely a departure from my typical big Chevy addiction, but still in the 50's era and such a beautiful body.
Cheers, D

Nick
I've got the same focus problems when I've tried two kits at once. The only thing I do for the next build is research and get all the needed supplies and AM ready to go.
Darrel],
I'm sure that D will buy you one of the real cars if you ask him nicely
D,
Darrell's post really made my day too, and lately my days could really use some brightening up big time.
Your reply to his post just goes to prove how far our list has come with you being the driving force that keeps it going in the right direction.

David, I checked in with Scott (the owner of SMS) regarding the shipment to USA-Gundam, and he said that there have been some COVID-related delays so it is unlikely to get there until very late this year at best. I will try to keep you updated.
Joel, I keep saying, I'm a very small cog in a very big machine. My time here on AutoModeler is a real bright spot in my day, and I'm really glad that we've got such a positive little community going here.

I managed some time to get SMS Super Clear gloss on both bodies over the last couple of days.
I'm happy with the Coupe. It's had a fine wet sand and come up nicely, and now ready to start adding the underside parts while I tinker with the engine wiring.
Test fit of the floor pan is very neat and the engine bay and inner guards look good.
The Red Cabrio body is another story. I wasn't happy with the finish in a few places and hit it with some coarser grades of sanding sponge, and burnt through to the primer in a couple of spots. It is nice and smooth now so I will re-shoot a light layer of red and then another clear gloss coat, hopefully over the coming weekend.

D,
The Coupe body really looks quite shiny. Very nicely done. As for the Cabrio body, isn't that always how it seems to go. One perfect, and the other almost, but not quite.
BTW, the BMF work on the shield frame looks simply outstanding.

Thanks guys!
Definitely not perfect Joel, but I'm improving my finish with each build so things are good!
I'm not quite that good with the BMF yet Joel, that is the kit chrome windscreen frame. I just kept it masked up tight during the painting.
Cheers, D

D,
Boy did you really fool me on that one.
Honestly, I've always found working with BMF to be an extremely difficult technique to master.

Now we're talkin'!
And the Dynamic Duo together.
I'm trying to keep these builds parallel and move on to each stage together.
