The body is ready. Almost time to put all the large pieces together.

So I just came across this site/forum, I'm way excited to participate in the MOPAR v. Chev build. I just finished a '68 Charger R/T. I used a color shifting paint for the body (Green to Purple) and a green and white interior (not too pleased with it). Any way, I will post some images of it.
I'm actually intimidated by all of you great builders out there, this is only my 3rd build after about 25 years (the last one I built I was 15). Thanks for all of the inspiration.

So this is my '68 Charger R/T (WIP) This is a color shifting paint (Green to Purple). This is only the third model I've done in about 25 years. I'll try to work on my photography skills as well.

This is the 426 Hemi that rocks this sweet machine.
When this MOPAR hits the street, Chevys are gonna weep (I know, that was pretty stupid)

G'day Brian, and welcome to my madhouse. Nice job on the Charger, well as far as a MOPAR can be nice, so now that you have had a practice run you can get started on a real car. You know, the one with the magnificent BOWTIE on the pointy end !
Also, the Group Build Rules and Regs and Enlistment info can be found HERE . Please make sure that you enlist if you want to make your builds official.
Tom, your build is coming along nicely mate. Dare I say it "Here Come Da Judge !" There, I said it.
Mark, as for you,
I've had quite enough of your misinformed commentary. If I wasn't such a gentleman I would launch into a string of invective that would make your toes curl. You're just lucky I'm in a good mood !
I really need to get back to my builds here sometime soon
Cheers, D

There are three rules by which I live my life 1) NEVER get in a land war in Asia 2) Never try and match wits with a sicillian, 3) NEVER go to a 'fight' wearing a bowtie (it's easy to get choked by it)

Inconceivable
BTW, if you haven't already found it, there's a bunch of fun in reading the lead-up thread to this Group Build. When you get a spare hour or so take a look HERE
Cheers, D

BTW, How / Where is Hermon? Now that his fondest dream, classing up D's bench with a Dodge, is finally happening?

I...uhm...appologize for not being around lately...been busy playing my "mid life crisis" to the hilt by looking for another old car for the family..and me. After losing out on a '61 skylark custom wagon, '50 packard fastback coupe, 1936 dodge brothers touring sedan,{man I liked that one!}, and a '68 pontiac grand prix{never got back to me about details- wanted really that one!}...I, uh, settled on an old favorite classic that the wife and kids also agree with. We go to drive it home this weekend - 153 miles. Now mind you- these above were all 1:1 real cars...not models for a change!
Uhm, Err....anybody know if there's a 1/25 scale 1954 chevy 210 sedan{4 door} in kit form...I can sand some of the badges/trim off, loose the door handles{poppers}, smooth the bumper bolts and add reversed chrome rims and caps...I'll be wanting skirts and a continental kit for "both" as well!
{sorry herman..... }
OK, Damian...flame on!.............

...still lurking here. (I actually had a '61 Chevy kit in my hands last week at the hobby shop, but an HO railroad turnout won out this time)...
Bob, I found this prior build of a '54 two-door, by someone named Bob Derewjanko. I assume it's based on an AMT '51, but it didn't say.
Also, I can throw an old built AMT '51 Fleetline in the mail for you, if you'd like, but it would take an awful amount of stripping and cleaning, and you'd still only have a '51 Fleetline for all that effort. I couldn't find any resin bodies with a Google search, but I know you know better than me where to look.
