It's good? I'll check it out

It's great, bit thin plot but then again it's so with all Mad Max movies. Great action, definitely one to see on big screen and even 3D works great. I'll go again soon

Some updates. Rear rims for dual tires are simple plastic tube, driver figure primed and needs only small touch up. Interior is very spartan, I'm using basic Interceptor parts and I'm not even try to make look like Landau original. Rear seat is replaced with diamond plate, gear stick is brass wire and glove box has lid removed for no other reason than fun.

And best for last, car side profile is dominated by massive side pipes. These are made from Evergreen stock and rest is salvaged from other kit, now I have to another for other side...

I'm currently working on turbo set up, after that there's only grille to scratch and then all components are done...finally.

You're welcome.

The set up looks great Tomi. Following your build is making me want to do two different things.

1. Watch the movie again.
2. Pick a car from the movie and attempt to copy it like you have done with the Landau.

I am really enjoying following your project.

Thanks,
Randy

Go for it man, I think that there's plenty of Interceptor models out there already. These chase vehicles ar just so cool.

This would also be very cool:

And actually it was my second option to build if I hadn't found correct bumpers for Landau (probably bit easier too....)

I always liked that red Falcon. Too bad it was destroyed. It would be a cool subject to build. I always liked these as well.

One of these days maybe.

Thanks,
Randy

Here is another good shot of your Landau

Loads of nice cars in MM2, these are actually just that tiny bit more fascinating than those seen on Fury Road (although nothing really wrong with those either). Here's first take on Landau game face, center piece made from two different gauge plastic sheet and sanded to shape. Mesh is from Hobby Design, not quite correct but closest I could find (mesh on movie car actually looks more like some kind of anti skid plate than mesh).

Quick update, with black plate behind mesh.

Now it needs some lights.

Here's something for the weekend, another test build. It seems that headlights are not level, but that's just a question of grille adjustment. The look is definitely there now

Thank you. So, here's another small update. Car has these quite crude wheel arch extensions, and only real option was to solder these together from brass wire as plastic would have been too fragile. Almost lost my cool while doing this one, so maybe I won't try to make another today...

Thanks. I just hit a little obstacle, there is shape error with the body that I'm trying to fix (or at least make less obvious), update coming soon...ish.

Ok, rear is now fixed:

And for comparison real car rear:

You can see how the line from the roof to the rear is almost straight. In my earlier pictures there is noticeable notch which is wrong.
