Thanks, D, I appreciate it. I had my first treatment today, and went straight to the bench when I got home.

There were actually two truck campaigns. I ran "Keep On Truckin!" from January 1st, 2008, through September 1st, 2008; and Bob Chawgo (old-dragon) ran "OTR" from May 1st, 2010, through May 1st, 2011. OTR had 14 participants, but I don't know how many actually finished.

Jim

"Keep On Truckin' II" ran Jan-Sept 2018, 8 completed builds in the Gallery
"OTR" seems to have been spread out across a bunch of individual threads and I don't know how many completed builds. The gallery is empty.

I'm sure we can make something work over a 12 month time frame with the increase in traffic here lately.

Cheers, D

Thanks Joel. She was 29 when she was diagnosed, and was one of the youngest in the US to be diagnosed back in 1994.

Guys i just signed up for this group build, if this model is no good i am shore i have at least 3 or 4 others that i could use, lol.

I am doing the Ed Roth Outlaw, not a bad little kit either it's about 65% done i would guess pic below. I need to finish decals on the back of the body add the front end and decal it also, headlights, install the body and several other things. All comments welcome.

Thanks for joining in Robert, great to see you here! That Ed Roth kit is a cool looking ride, I've considered picking it up a few times but not quite made the jump. Following your completion here might just change my mind!

Looking forward to updates.

Robert,
Now there's an oldie from the past for sure. Can't wait to see it done and in the books. From what I can see, you're doing the kit justice for sure.

Thanks guys don't waste your time on this kit the decals are the worst i have used in the past 5 years, that's the reason i stopped building it on the first go around, but i am going to finish it this time.

A classic "Big Daddy" Roth.
I have it, finished, in my cabinet. My dad build it, when the kit was brand new.

Betcha that's one prized model, with a ton of memories attached to it.

It certainly does Joel. The majority, of his builds, have survived. My mother has a few and my brother likewise. I have +100 of his builds, in my cabinet. All build in the 50's, 60's and early 70's.

That is amazing Jesper, such a legacy! Have you got any photos of the display that you could share here? I wish I still had all of the truck models that my father built, plus the ones that we built together.

A 100 of his builds in your display cabinet, plus your own builds. My God, your cabinet must be huge.

No photos, except from an old black & white photo. My daughter moved out, of the house, a few month ago. Her room, was my old hobby room and now, once again, mine. Once I'm all relocated I will shot some pictures. Lot's of fun old stuff there.

106 to be exact. One of them Revell's 1/8 Corvette. My cabinet is not that big, but it is deep, so models are in three or four layers. I will soon need to go to IKEA and find more storage space

Garage Queen #4 for 2020 crossed off the list today after 5 years and 9 months floating on and off the bench.

Who else is still battling away at an old build?

Well with less than ten weeks left, it looks like almost everyone, except Damien is slacking off.
Damian – AussieReg – yes - '71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible –Completed
Damian – AussieReg – yes –’67 Dodge Charger 426 HEMI –Completed
Damian – AussieReg – yes –’67 Pontiac GTO –Completed
James - jimb – yes – Kenworth W900 – Completed
Jesper - Hwa-Rang – yes – TBD
David - Dixon66 – yes - Cobra?
Mark - md72 – yes - 57 Bel Air – Side trim and first color coat
Patrick - Bluebell914 – yes - Martini Porsche 917k - final assy
Robert - rv1963 – Ed Roth Outlaw – Final decals

Well 7 entries and 4 completes, wouldn't be too mad if it wasn't mostly one guy. Mind you Jimb had more plastic in his rig. Oh and it looks like we spawned another campaign on our own.

I finally got the chrome masked off and the Ivory sprayed on the roof and interior. Now a major masking exercise and get the turquoise down. Oh, and get the camera battery recharged so I can post pics.

Progress on my 57 Bel Air, got the chassis detailed.
But I'm gonna need another coat of paint on the body.

I think the roof is OK, but the Turquoise body needs more work.

Well D I didn't totally screw up the Chevy emblem.

Actually looks better in the photo than in real life.
