Picklehead

The Chrysler 300 would be a great match, it certainly covers the Mopar requirement.

Here it is ribbon size. With some work it should look better.

When I have the time I will make it easier to see in the reduced size.

Bump time folks, and much as it pains me to do this, I took some photos of a rusting wreck at my sons basketball game last weekend. Some of you might be interested, maybe, probably not . . . . .

Tell you what, I'll trade my 2 Kias and a Nissan for that wrecked red bucket of rust.

Snooping around a toy store in a regional town recently I found this sexy beast

and just had to bring it home.

1967 moulds with basic details and a bit of flash but looks like it will build up ok with some TLC.

What is everybody else up to? Any more kits added to the stash that need to be shared here?

Cheers, D

Edit: I was going to post a couple of pictures of a pair of GS455 Stage 1 Buicks ('70 and '71) that I found at a car show recently, but I really didn't think anybody would be interested. Maybe I will post them anyway, out of respect to the car owners for the effort it must have taken to get such a shine on a pile of, well, you know . . . . . rust!

Seriously, if you are going to put any effort into polishing something, it should be something like this

Bye for now.

So named because it eats Fords for breakfast and spits them out as recycling scrap, yes, I said SPITS!

Got off work a little early tonight so I thought I'd step into the model room for the first time in a few months. There are still two planes and a car on the bench that were never finished. My airbrush is all gummed up and will take some work to get going. Cobwebs everywhere....

I'm on a tight budget now with all the doctor bills etc. I do have several Mopars in the stash and a 2012 Camaro I can build. Most of my paints are all dried up though. It'll take some time to get my bench cleared off but hopefully I'll be ready by the new year.

Received a kit in the mail from a friend last night. I opened it up and to my dismay there was a......1970 chevy camaro inside with a note that said "Chevy's Rule Dude!"

Immediately I brushed my teeth and got the puke taste out of my mouth and disinfected my hands from touching said kit.

Model room cleaned : Check
Work bench cleared : Check
Airbrush working : Check
One incredible Mopar kit : Check
One turd in a box kit : Check

Ready as I'll ever be.

Better clean everything, one more time Hermon, in formaldehyde. Just to be on the safe side.
