Unmarked copcar??? or a "what if" one??? I've got some Lightbars I could send ya if ya want one "marked"
Hell Last trip to Va. I saw a unmarked "plumbers van" that had someone pulled over.... the MDSP had put the LED lights in the windows and use it to catch speeders AS IF the Crarger's all over weren't enough!!

If an unmarked car is OK with the rest of you guys then I'm in luck. Just happened to have an 07 Charger in the stash. Could probably use some of the marker lights in my airplane spares box for the strobes in the grill or on the dash.
Whaddya say boys? Count me in with my Charger or what??

Cool deal. I yank her outta the box tonight. That makes 4 airplanes, and 3 cars including my rat next week, scattered all over my desk. Better be a helluva ribbon for this one.

Anyways,
, I opened the charger kit last night. It has all the chrome you could imagine. Even has big ole speakers and stuff, tinted windows, etc. So this'll be an undercover build for sure. Probably a seizure from a drug dealer or rap star converted to police for "po-po" duty.

PS: I am wearing a big gold chain while doing this build, yo!

I had a feeling suggesting a "undercover" build would convince you to join in!!!

Got my interrior painted a while ago. All the chrome pieces, and I mean ALL the chrome pieces have gone into a bowl of Simple Green for de-chroming. I had planned on making this a quick build but the more I think about this project the farther I want to take it. Here are some of the things I'd like to do, and I ain't no scratch builder so if anyone has any tips or tricks just shout.
1. Dechrome everything (already started)
2. Scratch build a plexiglass divider/roll bar between front 7 back seats.
3. Scratch build a top light bar and lights. (don't have any & can't afford to buy any)
4. Scratch build a bumper bar for front bumper.
5. Mask & paint strobe stripe from front to back (like AAR Cuda')
6. Beg, borrow or steal some decals to make this into an N.C. Trooper car maybe?
I think I can pretty much figure out how to do all the above except for the decals.

...well the hair brush idea was too far over the top, so I went for just a toothbrush.

..hey, where's waldo...I mean Roger?! You make any progress yet pal...I've got the basic box about squared away, but it's the roof and the details that'll whittle away the days for me......

We've only got five people signed up for this! We need to start a recruitment drive or something. I've told the Aeroscale & Model Shipwright guys about it, but I don't think they payed much attention.

Matt, what gives? From the AutoModeler homepage, selecting "Group Builds" then selecting "Trucks," all that's there is the past campaign "Keep On Truckin'!" Why isn't this one showing???

After Discussions w/ the Tacfire... We've decised since there's interset from those who do build them we're gonna award a ribbon anyway!!
On a side note, I've made some progress on the Trump ALF kit and started the painting on the metal parts of the F-650 Diecast conversion and the Diecast Suburban.

Started on my ALF pumper last night. I just hope it warms up enough before the GB ends so I can paint it. April here in CNY can be quite unpredictable.

Heck, I'm five hundred miles south of you guys and it's only been in the teens and twentys the past few days.
Hey Matt, that's cool about the ribbon. I pretty much have a ribbon fetish.
Yeah this probably is the wrong place for this but.............I got my decals in from policecars.com the other day and there are enough to do 6 cars total. So if any of you guys would like a set of decals to do a Philidelphia police car just gimmie a holler.
