I have my kit! Just waiting to see what the timeline will be when this group build is approved. I'm planning to pick up the Wisconsin State Patrol decals discussed. (I stand corrected on Illinois. They never had the Mustang.)
Cheers!

Harv, can you give us a hint who bought Roscoe's cruiser? Nobody chimed in on this thread to say it was them.
Cheers!

I gave it to KoSprueOne. A good modeling buddy throughout the years.

The sad thing about the kit is that it didn't come with a 1/25 scale dog, "Flash" the Basset Hound.
I also have these decals if anyone can use them. If so just send me a PM and I will get them in the mail. NOTE** These are peel and stick decals and NOT waterslide decals. Being peel and stick they are kind of thick. They came from snap-tite kits.

Thanks,
Randy

Wow! That sure grabs your attention! That looks like a beast! Are there a lot of Mustangs in general in England? (Assuming an unmarked would blend in to traffic.)
Thanks for sharing.

I searched for "wi" and "Wisconsin" and was given different results. There's State Patrol with other states included on this sheet: http://www.policecarmodels.com/1wimiokcimcc.html
Lindberg has a surprising amount of different units. I think the crown vic is preferred over e revell and the super-snap lindbergs dont look bad at all when built up.
Whoa! The price dropped to $2.00 (+$3.50 shipping), so I jumped at the offer. Mine should be on its way soon!

I don't think anyone is looking after AutoModeler. You can try PM'ing Matt Leese. He might be able to approve the Group Build.
I've been collecting parts for Sheriff (sans eyes):

That's an excellent idea! What is Sheriff anyway-- a Desoto or something? Will yours have curb feelers and all?

Sheriff is a 1949 Mercury Club Coupe Police Package. I don't think there were any DeSotos in the film. Doc was a Hudson Hornet.

Ah. I didn't recognize a Mercury. Very cool.
I see AMT made that kit! That should be a good plan for this group build.
thanks!

I've got my decals, so I'm ready for whenever this one gets approved and starts (next year)!
Anyone other police car suggestions?

How about a 1920's Packard.

Glad to see we're approved. There's been some volunteers for moderation in the auto section, any news on that?
