Me too!
I'm finishing up a couple kits so I'll probably start in March.

Sal,
The engine & frame look great. Can't say as I've ever seen that reaction with paint before. That really sucks.

Very cool car choice and paint scheme, Sal. I'm glad you got through the orange-peel paint problem.

Arthur,
You need to post the IMG link codes from a photo hosting site like Photobucket or Fokti. That's the easiest way.

I plan* to make* a Bluesmobile, Dodge Monaco. I intend* to convert, Rosco P. Coltrane's 1978 Dodge Monaco (Thanks, HARV!) to Jake and Elwood's 1974 Dodge Monaco, decomm Mount Prospect police car.

That is if tinbanger approves of this project. If it is not approved or if I realize it's way beyond my skill level, then I will build* Rosco's car OOB.
* I don't always finish group build/campaign projects but I try.

I am moved in to my new house, and got most of the boxes unpacked and a few other projects out of the way, and I'm ready to jump into this group build!
Here's my starting photo! These are internet photos, Chimneyville decals, and the Revell kit.
Last night I threw the engine together, and hoping to hit it hard tonight again!
(I don't intend to paint the engine-- I've never had anyone look under the hood of my cars, and if I paint it black with the chassis and underside, that should do it. Is this an entirely new conversation, or has there been discussion of that before?)
