From what everyone is listing so far, looks like some sexy building going to start real soon.

I gotta quit doin that!!!!!!!!!!! I have a nasty habit of getting a new kit, pulling the destructions out and going thru it all, then eventually putting it back...problem is sometimes I forget. I opened the above kit and surprise, no instructions...turns out I had them in with my 512 kit - ooops.
I gotta quit doing that!

Looks like a very nice kit. How much was it?
It's weird that photographers spend years or even a whole lifetime, trying to capture moments that added together, don't even amount to a couple of hours.

I am quite sure the 2 rattlecans next to it cost more (together off course) than the kit itself

. I am not exactly sure how much but it was less than 20 euro. And it's a nice kit indeed with decent detail and a showable engine.

I got the body started today...sanded seams and filled in alittle - nothing worth pic yet.
Are we posting builds here or on our own threads? Mob rules-

Looks great so far Lewis! Lots of detail in the interior. Any reason in particular you went with a blue steering wheel?
I've got about 4 different kits going all at once right now. I'll try and get a kit picked out in a few weeks and get started.

The Blue steering wheel...
I just fancied a change from black, the orignial interior needed some colour, hence the steeroing wheel is blue, the handbrake is red and the indicator and light switches are red

Lewis, looking great....and so much progress! Keep it up.
Richard, wow....that
is one ugly car....good luck!
Not much progress for me, the exhaust/turbos need to go on all together and had some monster sink holes to deal with. Anyway, this is where I'm at.....

Very nice kit James, is it fujimi?
That is one Ugly Ferrari Richard, why would anybody even make a car that ugly?

I've made a start on the 312B. I've been preparing all the parts that will be in the body colours of red or white so far. The wings in white, then the Italian Red for the rest...so far the parts that are to be red are still in thin white primer.
These old Tamiya 1/12 kits are still good even today...the date on the sprues is 1971, luckily mine is a 1993 reissue- so better decals.

I'm keeping the original kit chrome for the wheels which will be tinted with clear orange to represent the annodised gold of the originals. The rest of the kits chrome will be stripped and painted.

I should get going a lot faster on this once i have my other current project done in the next week.

And here's where I am, now I'm starting on the chassis. The tires/wheels I thought were well done, especially for 20+ years old, with a cast texture on the center and polished outer wheel. No seam line on the Pirelli P Zero's, and a nice tread pattern. The drilled rotors were only lightly dimpled and got drilled out a bit deeper. Weird that no calipers are in the kit.
EDIT......yup, calipers are included, just added later!

Link works fine James. And may I say that your engine looks awsome! Wheels look real.....are they aftermarket?
I'll hopefully have my kit started in a couple of weeks. Right now some butthead on Ebay keeps upping the bid on it.

Yeah, I could go to my one remaining LHS and pay $80.00 for the same kit.

The body colours are on. Decals are next after a light polish. I prefer to get all body parts to satisfaction before getting into the chassis and mechanicals.

OK, let's see if this one works. This would be a dedicated AutoModeler group build gallery, which would be better then using the Armorama one. Thanks to Gary Kato for figuring out the missing gallery
Feisty Ferraris Hermon, thanks. Being my first non-AFV I'm finding autos to be a whole new ball game. Those are the kit supplied wheels, this should be pretty much OOB.
Andrew, looking great, what type/brand of paint do you use? I'm holding off on doing the body work, still gathering supplies and as much info as I can before tackling that.
