Ok, my glasspacks are through the hood. The wife thinks it's a bit stupid, but both the boys say it's way cool. So, it's different anyway.

Hermon

While I can't help what the wife of yours thinks of you... ... I can say that the pipes look good, so long as you never plan on opening the hood. Nice sponsor decals. I'm still looking for an open helmit to plop on the roof of mine but I guess those aren't as easy to find as I thought{see-there's the problem-I thought}.

Joe, it sounds like maybe the whole world is agianst you...........which is probably a good thing, since it means they're leaving me the heck alone.
Please do join in an build a car. This place is getting kinda dead again.

Bob, I was gonna make the cut outs in the hood bigger but it would have looked like crap with the spacers visible that hold the glass packs on. I originally intended to mount them on the windshield pillars but thought this looked more original.

Ok guys the car I choose is Revell's 69 Dodge Super Bee. No pictures yet but will post real soon. I have some work ahead as the interior is molded in which means I'll be doing so scratchbuilding. I'm painting it in flat black and a day-glo orange or lime green door. Right now I'm going thru the kit cleaning up the parts, more to follow.

No Bob I’m actually out of the house. I’ve been trying to paint the house this year. I keep getting promises from family and friends but no one every shows up. So for the most it me and Gary will help when he can after work. I wanted to start in June…yeah ok!

Here's the house, painted it on the computer (wish it was as easy). The color is darker than what we bought. Was going for this at first but changed our minds.

Joe, nice house and I wish you luck getting it painted.....but seriously man. A former Cuda' owner is gonna build a MOPAR for a demolition derby car? Seriously?

Dude, you're SO going to hell in a handbasket.

Don't listen to him Joe, you just go right ahead and trash the thing. In fact, how about we just line each other up, you with your Super Bee, me with my Plymouth, and see how fast we can write them both off !!

Joe...that don't look like fun!!! I need to redo the soffit and facia on my house soon while the weather is nice...and man I could use a bucket lift like that to take down the cluster of bad trees behind my garage. Looks like one of those electric pump ones - drop the legs and level, plug in, and go. How much are you paying to renting that puppy?

Well Bob as an ex- union Ironworker out of local #6, one of the perks is that I can still get my hands on a few toys for nothing...nada...zip...zilch Best part is that I have it for a few more weeks.

Ah the Mopar crusher, well Hermon the way I see it is that this is a first place winner or at best a top 3 finish, full frame, steel body...it'll hold up.

Here's an idea, after we finsh up building them I say we model them as in the demo and post the damage

Ok here are some update photos, body was cleaned of flash, chrome pieces removed and sanded off and battery was cut from engine bay. I also removed the triangle vent side window and drilled out the door handle and hey hole.

Made a bit of head way today as it rained and was unable to do any painting. On the upside Gary and I finished up the back of the house and moved the man-lift to the left side. Will get started on Friday and hoping for more on Saturday.

Anyhow onto the progress photos. Here is the gutted interior and stamped out parts.

Looking great Joe, nice work.

I'm hoping to post some pics of my progress this weekend. I've put the engine together and cut the instrument panel and radio our of the dash, and knocked up a couple of gauges from sprue and scrap to fit on the dash. The handles got removed from the doors and small plates welded on to make sure they don't start flapping around when those big tough chevs start picking on me.

I'm thinkin the headers might just have to be all I use for exhaustage, we can't have mufflers and lengths of pipe getting thrown around the track now can we??

Cheers, D
