I think you're headed in the right direction, but you might want to change the background to a solid color, something that contrasts with the red and chrome...

I'll see what I can do about that. I'm not that familiar with working with Paint.net; so we'll see what happens.

I like it too, but as Mark said a bit more contrast will make it kick. Still no luck loading the previous ribbon? I liked that one too.

No, I can't get the other ribbon small enough. The smallest I can get it is 2.2kb, and it has to be 2kb or less.

James, I had a play with the first ribbon in Microsoft Picture Manager and got it down to 1.32 kB.

See if it will load to the Group Build Page now.

And away we go . . . . .

A couple of touch-ups and a small decal on the oil filter cap and then the mighty 390 ci power plant will be ready for final assembly.

Got the body and the white parts primered last night, going to need another coat or 2 on that RED body. It's kinda pink now....

Yes indeed. The primer also pointed out a few mold lines that need to be dealt with before the next primering...

A bit of front end work, axle and stabiliser bar, upper control arms and shockers, air bags (hidden away under the front axle) and a bit of detail painting in the background. The photos also show some areas of the chassis that still need black paint.

Well D, at the moment, I'm a LOT closer to your bench than mine.

But before I left, I managed to scrape down the mold seams, fill some gaps just behind the head lights and get the front seat put together. It's had a trip thru the paint shop.
Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next. Plan A was to lay down the Ivory, mask it off and then do the Turquoise, finally figure out the chrome (paint or foil). Now I'm wondering if I should paint the chrome, including those little lines in the Ivory flash. Then apply a clear coat, add the Ivory and try to sand it back a bit to expose the chrome
