It looks pretty impressive to me and from normal viewing distance it will be that subtle detail that makes the difference.
cheers

That looks awesome, Rob. So you know, the three air valve buttons on the dash for this era of truck should be a yellow diamond, a red octagon, then a blue circle.

Thanks James!
The two reference photos I have the blue one is black on one and all three are aluminum on the other. I don't know if I can make that an octagon.
Cheers Rob.

Well, octogon-ish in 1/25 scale. Sounds like the valves were removed in the photos you have. Probably not uncommon as new trucks don't have the blue one at all.

Not an update but I have to share this
I bought the AMT Kenworth T600A shortly after it was first released, and even started it at some point a little later but was soon stopped when I discovered it was supposed to have air suspension!
I was going to order some I found some offered in Australia, but a recent purchase has allowed me to make my own.
These aren't quite finished but I will soon be able to do my T600A!
Cheers Rob.

Rob,
The AMT Kenworth T600 really is a poor attempt at a T600. These articles might help in your conversion:
Rear Suspension Steering & Front Suspension (GW Trucks out of Fulton, NY, makes a conversion kit)
Hood Connrections Air Intake System Converting the NTA370 to an N14 (a Detroit Diesel Series60 would also work)
Installing N14 The reason I know about these is I've contemplated doing this myself. Good luck with your project.

Oh, good the suspension I'm making is the right one! :-)
Oh and working on the dash last night I noticed that red button is a hexagon!

the yellow is diamond as well.
Cheers Rob.

OK,
I have gone as far as I'm going on the dash
The first pic is super macro so you can see all it's faults
The second is a more what you will see with your eyes pic and
lastly a shot of it in the interior.
P.S. I am happy with the technique I used but should have used enamel for the white and acrylic for the black instead of the other way around.
Cheers Rob.

Here is my build update:-

I had to remove fuel tanks due to molding errors and also the front mud flaps.
The box photos show the front mud flaps off! now I know why , the hood will not close.

Looking nice, Rob. It's hard to tell from the photo, but your rear tired need to be on the outside of the lip on the wheels. Looks like they are on the inside.

UPDATEI found some time today to do a little something to my tractor. Not much, but enough to keep it going.
I added the cabin orange lights and the "trumpets":

Some scratch build is also requested, because the mud guards from the kit are not useable. The "holes" will be reflectors and the "hinges" are recycled from left-overs of
Zvezda's Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf.B Stuka zu Fuss which I completed a century ago:

I'm trying to get this build done in within a week time, but I guess you've heard that already

Cheers!
Gabriel

The engine is ready to go in and a pic of the air suspension I'm making for another project.
Cheers Rob.
