Sounds like someone is sublime green with envy.
Kudos, to your friend Damian, for his immaculate taste.
Ahh, some ugly Daewoo just past my window, or as they are known here Chevrolet.

Maybe just a bit more polishing, Chester!
My Dudge is nearing the end. Here is the police equipment I made for it...

and

It should be final in the next photos I share. Then on to the Cheby!

Thanks Guys!!! already working on the challenger this time I'll take it nice and slow... I'll do a modified one with open doors, since revell plastic is thick and its good for open modification

Half way through the year already! It really doesn't seem like 12 months since we started planning and 6 months of build time.
Chester, beautiful job on the Camaro, it looks really nice.
Sean, really neat scratch work and superb markings on the Charger cruiser.
Very modest beginnings for me on the 67 GTO, just happy to get some bench time after several months of just watching you lot progressing so well and having fun!

Hopefully more soon from me, keep up the great work all.
Cheers, D

Very nice build Sean, onwards and upwards now with your Bowtie build.
I've had some time to work on more sub assemblies tonight, I will get some pictures up in the next day or so.
Cheers, D

Hi Guys.
A little progress for me, some colour on the powerplants. Charger on the left, Goat on the right. More parts to be added, maybe some wiring, detail painting and washes to follow shortly.

Cheers, D

Thanks, guys. Each build is better than the one before-- so hopefully now that I pushed that Dodge out of the factory, i can give the Bel Air the attention it deserves! Just not yet. Amazing how the workbench fills up so suddenly!

Well, Finally made some progress. After weeks of trying to wire the distributor cap on the Camaro, I gave up and just painted it black. Now I can get back to actually putting stuff together. That is if any of the Chevy infected plastic will stick to the glue........

Glad to hear that you're still churning away at the Camaro Mark, I'm looking forward to some update pics if you get a chance!

Well it may be progress, but it ain't much. Most of the large parts are painted, got the front suspension started, engine started. gott to get to some detail painting.

On a note dear to Damien's heart, I saw a new Corvette today (2016 L06?) looks like they let the guy designing the back end talk to the guy doing the front end, and he spent a little time stealing designs from European super cars. Best looking 'Vette since they ditched the split rear window.

Hi, guys.
I started my real build, the Chevy. I'm a little worried about the clock because for this build I literally need to steal time, being heavily engaged by panzergrau elements...
I'm posting here a weekend's yield:
Engine:

I'm not going for further detailing; the model will be displayed with the hood shut.
Body: just the (very) beginning:
Primer:

Base paint on body parts:

and on the body itself:

I'm having troubles taking pictures of the white body: if I use both lamps on my desk, the reflection drives my camera crazy and obliterates any detail; if I use only one lamp against dark background, the color changes to a beige and the paint looks dull.
I just hope that after applying the graphics, the camera will have something to claw in.
Thanks,
Gabriel

I have the same trouble taking photos of white items on the green cutting mat. I think I get around the bleached-out photo by taking them on a light-colored background, even a sheet of paper under the model.
Anyway, that engine, even without any more detail, looks too good to close away under the hood.
Cheers!
Sean H.

Thanks, Sean.
You convinced me not to glue the hood (lie)
Thanks for the advice regarding the white body. I'll give it a try against a less contrasting color.

Mark, great to see some work done there, and a relief to hear the new 'Vette is bringing back the street appeal to the line!
Gabriel, very nice progress, and after looking at your reference pics I'm really looking forward to watching the body work moving forward. Sean is right, you can't hide that power plant away, it looks great!
Jesper, glad to see you are making progress as well, can't wait to see some pics.
I have had some time this week to work on my builds, but very little time to photograph and post images, hopefully tonight I can show you where I'm at.
Cheers, D.
