I'm having some trouble narrowing down a kit for this build.
There are about 35 more in the stash but these will do for now.

Sorry Hermon, I can't quite see it, I think that there must be 1 good kit in there but it must be hiding behind that PILE OF JUNK !!
Seriously, that's a hard choice to make mate. I like the look of the '69 R/T. I'm doing the '69 GTX at the bottom for your DD Campaign.
Phantom, welcome aboard, even though you sit at the wrong side of the table.
Well Hermon, as suspected we have stirred up some trouble. Can we get some feedback on the start date and duration ?? How about a January 2011 start and 12 month run ?
Cheers, D

Jan 2011 sounds good to me. That gives the government 9 months to design and build a Chevy that people will actually want. Ooops! Gotta go......I just stepped in a pile of Chevy and all over my shoe.

KSO, Sorry to hear you can't partake with us. I loved that Chevelle wagon you did recently. Do me favour, drop in from time to time and throw rubbish at Hermon ??
Of course if you change your mind and find time to join us, we'd be honoured.
Cheers, D

Damian{yoda}, yup, I saw the initial post but I was wondering if there was a trend amongst us....say, muscle cars.
I'd like to replicate my old '72 sebring I had...finding badging for a "satellite sebring plus" will be a major event{if at all possible}, but mimicing the 400cu.in. motor and seafoam grean paint shouldn't be too hard. All the models out there are '71s - flush turn signals and verticle tail light slats. Have to change that!

You know, I've got this '41' chevy P/up. It would make a great rat-rod, all stuffed full of 398 " Firepower" early Hemi. It would be great! All the work can go into the engine and all the rest just can be stuck-on long enough for photos!

Actually, there is one other car model I'd like to build from what I had in real life...sorta.
I did possess a '67 chevy II sans the straight six........................{hermon - wait for it}....
I also had my 392 hemi back then too and wanted to meld the two together just to bug the GM guys, but I wound up selling the rolling chassis for more than I paid for it and never got to do it.
Hmmmmm.............

Hi all. My esteemed friend Hermon (VonCuda) and I have had a bit of a friendly rivalry going for a while now on the Chev vs Mopar thing. This is entirely likely to continue for quite a while, until Hermon finally faces up to the fact that Chev's are far superior. . . .
. . . The start date would be early 2011, and maybe 12 month run time.
Happy trails guys.
I just read this first post completely through and might be into this build. Might have time in 2011

KSO, tell me what you're gonna build and I'll tell you if you'll have time or not.
MOPARS are generally faster........on the street and to build.

And to break down and to rust and to crack heads and to blow pistons and to shear conrods and to blow diffs and to shatter sychro rings and to generally let you down.
Hence the acronym . . .
