BUT WHY ARE HERMON'S PICS BIGGER THAN MINE ???

OK, that's enough whining and sniveling. If you can't get it under control D, you'll have to take it up with Da Man

If that doesn't work, you may have to tell it to Da Judge

And if all else fails, you may meet the Scourge of FORDs everywhere

I know that size doesn't matter

That may be true but:

Are you secure enough to handle this:

Or is this more your style?

My masculinity isn't threatened by pink cars, but that gray 4-door Corvair is much more my style.

OK, D here's one last one just for you..

Hermon, how about this one?

All you need is U$4,919.78 and this one is yours. Of course you're on your own for the time machine to take you back to Pasadena, CA in 1971 to get this one off the dealer's lot.

Don't worry Carl, if you are really having a midlife crisis you might still have time to grow out of the whole Chevy thing. I certainly wouldn't want to have to stand at the pearly and explain to the big man that I drove a Chevy.

I don't think they were sporting BFG radials back then...but my money's on the red RT next to her! Better still, crank up the way back machine and I'd shoot for a new '72 plymouth satellite sebring plus with the 440 in her! Mine had the 400 and she liked to bend pushrods, but I liked to shift high so it might have been my problem and not the cars...
Seeing that '69 1/2 kinda stings...my 1st car was suppost to be a '69 1/2 judge, 400 6pac with a 4 speed and my dad wouldn't cosign for it so I wound up with a Ivy green '70 catalina wagon with a 350 that ate those cheapy plastic ringed timing gears...might have been a 400 too but one wouldn't notice any difference in that cabbage patch doll lookin boat. Was handy for skitchin during the winter though!...
I made up for that 2 yrs later when I got the GLH turbo!

Now I gotta ask...what is that truck in real life...I have a mack truck kit that wants to be "Mack" but I'd need a "Mator" to go with it....the wrecker boom is an old holmes unit but what is the body?!

It's a Frakentruck. One whole side of the rear sheet metal is taken up on the parts. IIRC the chassis is a Hudson (Holmes?), Bits and pieces from all over the country, a little locally grown sheet metal, paint and window covering. The tow rig was salvaged in Alaska. He's outa Lake Stevens, WA., just outside of Seattle

Sunday during the cruise, he was parked on a side street and folks were free to walk up and gawk. Monday during the car show, he was fenced off and they charged U$10 (for a charity) to have your picture taken with him.

Thanks for that heads up, Bob. I take it that he's still producing those decals, even if he isn't selling on eBay?

He has some interesting stuff there!

He was "just" on ebay two days ago{7 day auctions} and the last batch of decals{442 olds and mod top decals} was two months ago...yep, he's still going. I want the late model roadrunner decals but lack the '76 plymouth kit to do so...yet....need an regular omni/horizon kit too{oh, there's a list!}
Oh, I have 5 sets from him....one page had two sets{add '72 GTX stripes}.
He doesn't pop on ebay all that often but I know his work when scrolling thru there...

Apparently Hermon's house isn't the only place Chevy is a 4 letter word:

I always thought Chevy was a five letter word.

Just like Mopar.

Well... I'm guessing Mopar and Hemi are both 4 letter words at Damian's house.

I'm waiting for someone to tell us that the only true four letter word is Ford.
