Bob, now I'm sure your wife is right about that third child.
In 30+ years of marriage, my wife, son, daughter and I have owned a grand total of 20 vehicles., 5 of which are still in the driveway.
Oh, no...no 3rd child!
-I say I have two kids- one son & one daughter...my wife says she has three- one son ,one daughter and one husband.

Don't get me started on the bike list, Bob.
I'm a little jealous of the GT750 and not one, but two, H-2s.

The old suzi was from a friend's dad who wanted it running and when I got it finished he said keep it for the all the work you did...it financed the RD 400.
H-2 cycles were a pain though{and I actually had 4 - one unfinished} because of the stupid "no down 5 up" shift pattern...can't remember how many times I started in nuetral thinking it was 1st gear!
You had to think, when swinging a leg over, "remember dummy - no down 1st!!!".

I liked alot of cars then too...I simply sold or traded one for the next just to try them out...there's a handful I'd love to have back again! I've only owned 2 new cars so far in my life...even back when I knew the depreciation was an issue with cars so I tried the older ones that held their value.

Ok, somebody get me a glass of water, I'm feeling all faint. I actually went to the LHS today and came out with a HEMI. OMG the humanity !!
Now on the side of the box it states that only 7 of these cars were made. Makes me wonder why they made any at all if they already knew that they wouldn't sell !!!
Anybody wanna guess what it is ??
P.S. Due to poular demand a new rule has officially been added. A full list of rules can be found on the enlistment page

$$$...not alot of folks back then would pony up the extra money to buy the hemi package on the mopars, just like the ford shelby mustang packages...now they wish they had "if" they still have them...even a vin'd hemi car "without" the motor is huge money, look out if it's all there and numbers matching!{$$$$ - nearly 6 digits for pristine shape}

Just checked the new rule{not so new since I was following the thread}....I don't know about that 1st part{could use some of that to fertalize my garden with!} but the middle part works both ways..it'll give you chevy folk a new respect for the More Power{than a chevy} experience.
Oh, btw, don't discount lil 4 cylinders...try and find an early '70s chevy nova with the "factory" 4 cylinder option..rare as heck and actually worth alot of money - go figure!

Only 7 made? Hmmm. I'm suspicious of production figures in general, but let's see...a low-production, Hemi-powered Mopar in kit form? That narrows it down to...
Revell's '71 'Cuda convertible?
I know Hemi production figures were low for 1971 anyways, and Hemi convertibles are pretty scarce. That makes the 'Cuda the logical choice (and it's the only classic Mopar convertible currently available as a scale model).
Unless you've got a secret Hemi-powered early Coronet in there somewhere, that is.

We have a winner! Careful, D, the Mopar bug might get ya!
When I got home from work I checked my Plymouth Red Book, and it lists production figures for the '71 Hemi'Cuda convertible at 7. However, I've seen from at least one other source that the 7 only counts for the units produced for the US. There were allegedly 4 additional '71 Hemi'Cuda converts produced; 2 for Canada and 2 for export, which brings the total to 11.
Either way, it's a rare bird. Or fish.

Chalk it up to miserable photo skills. And I took all but the last few shots from the cash register as I sold hot dogs and colas.
I could have posted all the Ford pics I got.

As co-leader of this campaign I declare rule #10 unconstitutional. I will in no way jeopardize my sole to eternal damnation by building a ch....che.....vvv.....chevy. Man, that left a bad taste in my mouth. Think I actually threw up a little.
BTW, anybody know where I could get my hands on some Cuda' hocky sticks? I know there used to be a guy that custom made them but he's no longer doing it.

Hermon
Hey there, Hermon. Fred Cady used to make the '70 'Cuda hockey stick stripes in both white and black. I used a set of the white "340" sticks on my
Duster build.
Sadly, I don't know anyone else who is making them at the moment. I haven't had any luck finding them on eBay either, even though I search the site every few days for them.
What engine callouts do you need, and in what color? I will bug my modeling buddies and see if I can scratch something up for you. No guarantees, but it's a start.

Come on Hermon, you can do it, don't be afraid. My grandfather always said "if it tastes like s##t or hurts like hell, it's probably good for you !!" Take a deep breath, suck it up, BUILD A CHEV hehehe.
